My favorite Korean bar spot. I've been back here so many times and never disappoints. The vibes are authentic Korean bar vibes and the food is flavorful and hot. Love the cheesy spicy chicken and the Kimchi fried rice

My friends and I shared the spicy rice cakes with ramen, garlic chicken wings with soy sauce, and the mango yogurt cocktail soju. All the food and drinks were super delicious and were a good portion size to share between 3 people. Ramen and cheese are both additional charges to the rice cakes if you choose to include them. My friends with lower spice tolerances did mention the rice cakes and wings were a bit spicy for them so take that into account when ordering as well. You will need to click a button if you need your server. They usually were super prompt with coming to address our needs once the button was clicked. The restaurant also celebrated a lot of birthdays at my visit and overall provided a very great atmosphere to hang out with friends later in the evening. There are plenty of seating available to accommodate various party sizes and bar as well if that is what you prefer.

The best place to go after late night badminton or pickleball practices. The food hits the spot everytime. We came here multiple times. Almost becoming a ritual for us. The two of our most favorites are the pork belly and the honey butter popcorn chicken. Cannot beat it. Always burst with flavors and fresh from the kitchen. Food always comes out FAST. The servers always check on us. I dare to say this place is very close to almost perfect. The reason why I said "almost" is because of the ambiance. I still gv them a 5 stars because it is cozy and intimate. Really resembles a street food style. However, the music.. is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS WAAAAY TOOO LOUD. I usually can't hear my friends talking. We always have to scream at each other. I am out of voice when we are done because the amount of shoutings we do at this place. Honestly the music can use some volume control. Just turn it down a notch. Understand the vibe is young, happy, hip, and loud. But seriously this is WAAAY too loud. Give some rooms for people to hear each other and enjoy conversations. But other than that.. absolutely recommend their food!

The customer service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. We were promptly greeted by the staff, and they were quick to respond when I used the call button at our table. The ambiance was lively and dimly lit, with great music that transported me straight back to South Korea! The honey butter chicken wings were a bit on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it -- they were flavorful, fresh, and made with high-quality ingredients. The tteokbokki was also delicious, with the perfect balance of spice in the sauce. There's plenty of parking, and the bathroom was spotless. I'll definitely be back!

Great late night spot for Korean street food! Their spicy stir fried chicken with cheese and bomb fries are soooo delicious. The cheese melt in the pot and the cheese pulls come out so satisfying. Lively environment and I always have a good time here with friends on nights out in Carrollton!

Ddong Ggo is a fantastic spot, especially if you're out late and want to avoid fast food, which is usually your only option at that hour. I likw that this place stays open late--it really fills a need in the area. During my most recent visit, we arrived earlier than usual and discovered they had a happy hour. My friend and I decided to split a yogurt soju cocktail, which has always been a hit for us. For our main dishes, we each ordered bulgogi bowls. While my friend enjoyed his, I found the bulgogi bowl a bit too sweet for my taste, though I think many people would really like it. The staff was friendly and even recognized my friend since he visits often. As a nice gesture, they treated us to a couple of items on the house. It was a thoughtful touch, even though my friend opted out-he's a bit traumatized from one of the ingredients in this item lol. Overall, Ddong Ggo has a great, chill, casual vibe, capturing the essence of a casual Korean pub restaurant. It's also pretty nice to go to watch the games on their TV's. This restaurant is always a go-to option for late-night dining.

Ddong ggo (chicken butt) is a Korean pocha that serves bar food and alcohol and is open late at night. They have another location in LA. It's pretty dimly lit but I witnessed them light up the place like a club for some ones birthday. Whenever you want service, you just push a button and a server will head right over. My friends and I got the bomb fries, the spicy rice cakes, and spicy chicken wings. There were certain times in the past where I didn't have a great experience but I had a good one this time. The fries were good, the ones at the bottom were overly drenched in sauce to eat though. The spicy wings were reallly spicy but they had good flavor. And the pickled daikons are good palette cleansers. The spicy rice cakes were nice and chewy, and I love the fish cakes as well. They weren't too spicy at all.

Nestled in a lively strip mall in Carrollton, Texas, Ddong Ggo is the ultimate Korean bar experience. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a relaxed yet buzzing atmosphere, filled with the cheerful chatter of friends enjoying their night out. It's the perfect spot for good times and great food. The drink menu is a highlight, offering a variety of Soju in fun flavors that keep the party going. But the food truly steals the show. The Cheese Island is a must-try, featuring massive chicken wings surrounded by cheesy corn--pure comfort food bliss. The spicy chicken is equally impressive, delivering a flavorful kick. For something a bit different, the spicy fried tofu is a crowd favorite, as is the savory seafood pancake. Ddong Ggo is more than just a meal; it's an experience. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious Korean dishes with friends, this is the spot.

My friends and I came on a Saturday evening, so pretty occupied. I found pressing the button for service to be convenient, since my group and I tend to be indecisive, but overall the service was good! The ambiance was a bit loud, but it's to be expected. It's a nice place to catch up with friends & have a good time. As for the food, my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the stir-fried chicken with cheese! The chicken was prepared well & the addition of cheese + corn makes it a perfect 3-in-1 order (good for indecisive people). The spicy seafood soup was moderately spicy, good to eat with a heavy meal, but nothing special. In addition, the honey butter chicken had a bit too much powder on the top; good crunch, but I've tasted better fried chicken. Personally, I would've prefer if the honey butter flavor was more subtle. Food is good, but for what you get, it is on the pricier end. Would return for the spicy stir-fried chicken with cheese, and possibly other dishes!

I love coming here for late night snacks/food and drinks with friends! They're open late and have a wide range of Korean dishes to choose from. Service is efficient as well with call buttons at your table. I visit this place pretty often and have tried the seafood pancake, assorted fish cake soup, steam big egg roll, shake fries, and kimchi fried rice. My favorites are definitely the shake fries and fish cake soup so far. The shake fries seasoning is soo good and addictive (a little sweet, salty, and cheesy) and the dish comes with three types of fries! The broth for the fish cake soup was delicious and goes well with soju. The other dishes I've tried are still good although probably not something I'd care to order again. Dishes are a bit on the pricier size but the portions are huge!! I recommend trying this place out for some soju and Korean snacks, especially later in the night with friends. It gets pretty lively during the weekend and it's a fun and cozy place to hang out :)
